"We had the most amazing bank holiday weekend staying at this lovely B&B in Keswick! As two friends who love hiking, it was the perfect base for exploring the Lakes. The location couldn’t have been better – close to beautiful trails, stunning views, and the town centre for a well-earned meal after a long day out. The room was spotless, cosy, and really comfortable – exactly what you need after a day on the fells. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and friendly, giving us great tips on walks and local spots we might have otherwise missed. Breakfast each morning was a real highlight – fresh, delicious, and set us up perfectly for our hikes. You can tell a lot of care goes into making guests feel at home. We honestly had such a fab weekend and didn’t want to leave. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, friendly place to stay in Keswick – especially if you’re planning some outdoor adventures!"

"Burnside B and B is a lovely place to stay in Keswick. It is conveniently located to walk. We were warmly greeted upon arriving and our spacious room was exceptionally clean. Sharon provided us with excellent information about restaurants and places to go. The breakfast each morning was delicious and can be made vegan, vegetarian, or GF as needed. We highly recommended Burnside."

"We had a wonderful stay in Shelley Cottage, great location, comfortable and incredible views! Very comfortable and relaxing, just off the main road but still felt peaceful! we enjoyed the garden as well!"

"Great property with plenty of room for the 6 of us (4 Adults and 2 kids) plus a dog. Good access to A66 and Keswick either by car or foot. Lovely sitting room views of Latrigg. Spacious garden, bathroom and well appointed kitchen. Infact the only negative thing we had to say was the towels are too small. For the men it wasn't an issue for the ladies trying to decide which B they wanted to cover up was highly entertaining for the respective spouse to watch but in the end the only thing that would have improved the property would be proper bath sheets. Would absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking to explore and enjoy the beautiful Lake District."
