"When we arrived the air conditioning was on in our room and it was so cold. It was cold outside so I have no idea why it had been left on. As you entered the hotel it was so warm then going into our room was very uncomfortable. Staff did come up and said it would take some time to warm up which it did so sadly the only time we really spent in the room it was freezing. Also it was incredibly difficult to get ready. The room was so dark and what lights there were barely lit the room. Even the bathroom was dark. As a woman we do need light to get ready but even my boyfriend found it frustrating. The room was clean and the staff were nice. We went downstairs to sit in the bar and the leg snapped off the sofa so I ended up on the floor! Staff seemed unbothered and just moved the sofa. The room was warm by the time we got back to sleep later so that was something. Breakfast was nice and the staff were friendly enough. Due to the disappointing room I doubt we would return. Plenty of other options in Cheltenham. "

"Excellent from start to finish, check in was seamless and communication was great. The room was spotless, with everything you could need and more. Location was brilliant, less than a minute walk to restaurants, bars and shopping. Not essential but the parking you can book is cheapest in Cheltenham."

"Had a great stay. The staff were lovely and helpful. The bathroom shower was a bit funky though. The hotel is conveniently located near the downtown."

"Great reception staff, helpful and professional. Hotel is interesting and characterful. Comfortable well decorated room with decent linen. Decent breakfast but porridge was a bit watery A few downsides…… A lot of noise from the bar opposite until 11.30 and there is only single glazing because of its age. Heating from the A.C. panel was slow in heating the room, however the central heating kicked in during the night and the pipes were noisy with the constant sound of running water in the room. Shower in the morning was no more than a tepid trickle even when set to fully hot. Grubby curtains and no nets in the room although other rooms had them. Wouldn’t stay again as there are plenty of options in this price range. Parking expensive at £17 for residents."

"Check in procedure was a bit unusual for me, if I’m honest. It took a couple of phone calls, emails and having to download their app. That said straightforward once you understood it. Paid offsite parking is a block away. Wouldn’t have been ideal if I’d had a suitcase to lug around. Parking and accommodation on separate invoices. I had clocked it not a hotel, but serviced boutique apartments. Location is great. Good choice of eateries close by. All said, now that I know what to expect I’d probably use again for a short visit. "

"We visited Cheltenham with our 18 month old to go to a wedding. The building is a beautiful period property but there isn’t a lift, so request a 1st floor room if you have a lot of luggage! Room was beautiful and we had a lovely view of the park. "

"Both the hotel and room was clean and fresh, everything needed for an overnight stay or longer. Equal to a premier Inn only considerably cheaper. Definitely staying here again."
