5/5 - Excellent
Bourton-on-the-Water is a quaint English village. It's quiet, very walkable, and full of quality shops, pubs, and restaurants. Recommend a visit to nearby Sudeley Castle and a pint/lunch at the 17th century Mount Inn in Stanton.

Cheltenham was too busy for a retreat. This inn was out in the country.
All very drivable and great areas to walk around.
This is our second visit here and we simply love walking around the place and that's the whole point. Do walk around and that's it.
