"My husband and I had the most magical stay for our 20th anniversary. The cottage is adorable and cozy. It is so close to the waterfront while not being right in foot traffic. So many restaurants, within just a few minutes. Easy access to many footpaths. Easily the most charming and wonderful vacation we’ve ever taken. We plan to bring our children back with us in the future."

"The room was great however we were moved to another guesthouse down the road supposedly due to some maintenance issue. This wasnt what we booked and had confirmed as a ground floor room as we ended up in the first floor of another building. Apart from that all was good."
Old Bank Flat Beautiful Cotswold Apt

"We really enjoyed our stay at Old Bank Flat. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, with two bedrooms, both with comfortable double beds. The living area was also comfortable and the kitchen was fantastic, with everything you could possibly need. The bathroom was lovely, although the bath may be a little awkward to get in and out of if you are shorter. The location is excellent — right in the centre of Bourton-on-the-Water, with plenty of good pubs, cafés, restaurants and shops nearby. Parking was good too, with plenty of spaces in the nearby paid-for car park. There is lots to see and do within walking distance. The Model Village is directly across the road and well worth visiting, with Birdland and the Cotswold Motoring Museum also close by. Stow-on-the-Wold, with its large Tesco, is only a short drive away if you want to stock up and cook yourself. The only minor downside is that, being so central, you can hear the shop downstairs setting up from around 7am. This wasn't a major issue for us, but light sleepers may want to bear it in mind. Communication with the owners was excellent throughout, both by phone and email. Overall, a lovely, well-equipped apartment in a fantastic location. We'd happily stay again."

"Fantastic, well-equipped property for a family stay. The location could not have been better - just steps away from so many lovely pubs, shops and restaurants, with great options for families. We used bourton on the water as a base and were still very close to other nearby Cotswolds towns to explore by car. We especially loved sitting in the quaint courtyard garden at the front of the house having a drink and watching the people stroll by and play in the river. The cottage itself is so pretty that we regularly saw people stopping to take photos of it!Inside, the property was cosy, spacious and thoughtfully equipped with essentials - small touches that made settling in really easy. We would happily stay again."

"Great, beautiful cottage in the heart of Bourton on the Water. Walkability was amazing. We even had a minor issue where my husband accidentally locked is out and communication was very quick and we resolved the issue within 15 minutes. Highly recommend!"

"The property was in an excellent location and suited our family of 10 perfectly in terms of space.The property was slightly tired in places and wasn't spotlessly clean. There were lots of cobwebs and dust, but this is something we could work around. Overall a great stay!"
