"What an amazing relic of our California state's history! So beautifully kept & decorated. This is a magical place where you will feel you time traveled to the Gold Rush Era. I couldn't reccomend this place more! Especially to families who want to teach their childeren 1st hand about history or even those who want to host a unique setting for a wedding, etc. The staff couldn't be nicer & the town couldn't be more relaxing! I confident give this place 5 Stars in every area!!!!!"

"The door was not locked when we arrived. There was no instruction how to lock the door when you go for a walk. It would have been better if the cabin was not so close to the main drag. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Plenty of room for our two families. The highlight of our trip was our time spent in their backyard. It is huge, we basically had our own snow park. We built our own snowball battle field and sledding track. The property was not too far from Soda Springs Ski resort and Sugar Bowl. "This was a fantastic house for our group of six to occupy for a week of skiing. Close enough where you could walk to town. And close enough to hit several ski resorts in under 30 min. House was clean, comfortable and well maintained."
