"This was my fourth stay at a Riu resort, they are usually great, this one not so much. The service was definitely not what you usually get at a Riu, most of the time I felt like an interruption. The pools are in need of repairs, as there are tiles missing. I had read in other reviews that the food isn't very good, and that is true. I am not a picky eater whatsoever, and neither are the other 3 guys I traveled with, but we all agreed it wasn't good. I do want to give a mention to the following staff members that provided excellent service: Smith at the reception desk, Noel at the lobby bar, and Sol at the pool bar, they were awesome. You get what you pay for, and I didn't go with high expectations, but in my opinion, it could be much better."

"This was our second time at Majestic Mirage and my whole family had a great time. Our room butler Vickiana was super helpful. At one point my mother lost her phone and the whole pool staff, led by Juan Bernardo, sprang into action and helped her find it. Love the food, love the rooms, the beach is beautiful, the staff is great. "

"The overall resort has everything you could need close to the beach and the pools were very clean the entire week,… it just needs to be updated. The beds were terribly hard and made it hard to get a good night sleep. "

"We would go back and highly recommend our friends. The food is outstanding in the buffet, with beautiful selections. Super clean everywhere including all bathrooms! Highly recommend making reservations at the steak house, order the picañia, you won't regret it. Service is fast and the quality of the neat was outstanding. Staff is very friendly and attentive. The pools are great, drinks are very mild but tasty!! We lucked out with perfect weather so we enjoyed pickleball everyday!!!"

"The place was full of cats! It was disgusting and I am allergic to cats, couldn't go to some of the restaurants or locations due to them. We upgraded the room and package but it was not worth it. Rooms was really hot and had to get maintenance to lower thermostat. The drinks were not good anywhere except the main bar all other places it was really cheap liquor. The restaurants only served very small portions and if you don't have a cell phone to order via QR code then you are out of luck since there is NO menu. The main buffet was very good and had a variety of food every day. Would not go there again especially when you can not explore all the properties."
