"Great hotel"

"One of the elevators did not work and the other two that was working had some issues when the doors were closing and they opened and closed 3-4 times every time you used them. This took long time and we could not access the stairs either. The TV did not properly either, green screen after a couple of minutes. A part from those two things we enjoyed our stay (2nd time) "

"Lovely stay, rooms were old fashioned but still clean and cosy. Heating only blew cold air though. Staff were lovely, had very little interaction but were fab when we did "

"This hotel is short walk from Queensway underground, Hyde Park and Diana memorial Kensington castle across the street . lots of great eating places . It’s a short walk to Nottinghill . Our room was clean and very comfy and quiet . . We would stay again "

"My stay itself was great - the third time I’ve stayed at this hotel, and the location, vibe, rooms and staff have been great. However, my opinion of the hotel has gone downhill since I asked them to return to me a water bottle I’d left in the room and they asked for £20 for the service! (Which would cost c£5 through Royal Mail. Even adding a small amount for packaging, they are clearly profiteering rather than looking after guests). I then asked if they could keep it for me until I return to London and they said they could not, and my only option was to pay the £20. I’ve gone from loving this hotel, and it being my ‘go-to’ for London trips, to feeling ripped off by then. Oh, and by the way, I also paid the optional £8 service charge when I checked out as the team had been lovely - how can they take this money then look to profit from guests misadventure. Rant over. "

"Squeaky floors outside the room so could hear everyone walking past, was near the lift so most on the same floor. Breakfast was good, went early the first day but there was plenty so went later as less people, could still get everything you wanted. Basic room, a mini fridge would have been good so could keep fresh milk"
