"This hotel was very clean and comfortable and had super friendly staff. It’s in a relatively safe part of the city. Having lived here in the past, it is not the most exciting area, but it was a good spot to stay for a low-key trip."

"Pros: very well located in downtown, easy to get public transport from there. Rooms were clean and well managed. Cons: Hotel front lobby basically works as a small parking lot, which is not included. It charges 10$ for 30 mins for first hour and then more. "

"Although a frequent traveler to San Francisco, this was my first stay at the Grand Hyatt, and I wasn't disappointed. From check-in to check-out my stay was very nice. Friendly customer service, comfortable room and clean throughout the property. Cool on-site lounge/cocktail bar, although I wish the roof were accessible to guests w/ a bar up there, too. "Property was well-located and extremely convenient for access to both Union Square as well as Powell Station for both Muni and BART options, including to the Airport."

"Everything was excellent. Super convenient location. Staff very friendly and helpful. My only issue is the noise. Better sound insulation for interior and exterior is needed. You can hear everything from rooms across the room or next door, as well as from the street."
