"We chose Riu San Francisco due to the location near to the pick-up/drop-off for planned tours and that worked very well. The room was clean and housekeeping kept it clean during our 5-night stay. The rooms were a bit noisy and not well insulated for sound. The touristy neighborhood around the hotel was dirty…. not the fault of Riu because their areas were very clean, but once you leave the hotel, not so much. The very best part of our stay was the breakfast buffet that we enjoyed every morning!...

"Lovely and clean and quiet rooms. It is only 7-8 min away from the airport, you don’t hear any noise or sound from the planes. The staff at the front were lovely and so kind and sweet, both during the check in and check out. Amazing place to stay."

"Great stay and location. Staff are as friendly as they get paid for (bit doing anything extra friendly for free lol which is fine) and at some point the fire alarm went off but no one made sure everyone was out. They just closed the door (not lock) where the elevator was. I took the elevator and then exited out the emergency door loool but I didn’t know anything was going on so that was my only gripe. So good for solo travel! Felt safe, all that jazz."

"Good location, but be aware there is no self‑parking available. The only option is valet at $91.00 per day, paid over $270.00. We stayed over a weekend, and there was a nearby concert that night. Because of that, we waited over 30 minutes for the valet to bring our car. There was a traffic jam with guests arriving, and the valet had no space to move cars, which made it a hassle to leave the hotel. The hotel also charges a daily destination fee of $38.00.
