"We were in town for just one night in July. It was typically hot and so were we. But this place has a wonderful A/C that hits you in the best way upon entry. That would be enough for high marks, but the builind has an intersting history. The hosts have placed displays of documents revealing its past lives as a 1900s opiod rehab sanitatium and bank (drive thru & vault included!). It would have been worth another night, just to explore it. We will be back!"

"Great stay! Grabbed this charming apartment for a birthday getaway weekend for my wife. Right in the heart of Apalachicola near all the major restaurants and shops. When we arrived, we found a clean, 3-room apartment with Keurig machine, microwave, and small fridge already there. Apartment was very comfortable and cool with mini-split air conditioning in each room. Bathrooms were very clean. Ron, the host, was great! Very responsive and communicative, I asked for a special request to have wine and flowers set up for my wife when we arrived, and Ron was more than happy to help make that happen. Ron also gave us a heads-up of a temporary water issue in town before we arrived. Overall I highly recommend this property for your next stay in historic Apalachicola."
"Check in staff was very friendly. The pool / hot tub was clean and in good working order. The whole facility was very clean. Ample parking. Breakfast buffet was very good with many choices. We plan to stay here every year we come over for our family reunion! The whole area is beautiful and fun to explore."
