"The unit was not ready when we arrived even after the appointed arrival time. The unit was dirty, needed repairs/painting, outdated, furniture smelled, popcorn ceilings falling off, bath linens were dingy & needed to be replaced. On Monday, a construction crew started tearing up fencing around pool area and the wooden paths. All we heard was a chainsaw & other equipment. We were unable to use the pool. The host should have been transparent about this. We moved out on Monday after finding another property more suitable to our liking. Fortunately we were refunded our unused nights & cleaning fee. I find it hard to believe they didn’t know the construction was to be taking place as stated by the onsite property manager. The photos of the property were misleading. We will never stay at this property again."

"This beach is great! The unit is as shown in the photos—small, perfect for two people. It has everything you need, but I would recommend adding a rack, hooks or something to hang wet towels and bathing suits. Maybe outside the side door? I would love to relax outside, but the bugs and mosquitos make it difficult to enjoy it. "

"This condo is delightful. It appears to have been completely remodeled. The entire space was exceptionally clean and well maintained. We appreciated that everything (i.e. switches) is labeled. The beds were comfortable. THE LOCATION IS FANTASTIC. You can see the beach from the rear of the house with no obstructions. From the rear door you walk down steps and along a boardwalk to reach the beach. The condo is near the end of the public part of the island, not far from the state park. For this reason, there were less people around than if you are in the middle of the island near the lighthouse. The pool is large and well maintained.We have already made reservations for our next trip to stay here again. The only minor negative to note is that there is only one space to park under the condo. There is not additional parking on the property. "

"Nice property. I can only criticize minor details The dishwasher was not attached properly: it had to be held up to fill.We did find the 10am checkout a bit restricted for a vacation morning, but we managed. A few more of the requirements seemed to us part of the expectation for the cleaning crew, but we complied. Overall, a good experience."

"Place was well stocked. Furnishings were comfortable. Owner was very responsive to any questions we had. Nice location near the beach and pool. We have stayed at 300 Ocean Mile for many years. We just had the unfortunate experience that our stay overlapped with boardwalk and pool construction that the owner and VRBO had no control over.. Hopefully that will be over soon. We'll be back."

"We are a family of 5. 3 children ages 9 and 10. We loved this place. The beach was beautiful and not crowded. The kids loved the pool. The manager Michael. "The guy in the Hawaiian shirt" is a very nice helpful man. We look forward to coming again"
