"Overall this was a great property. A few cons: when I asked for espresso at breakfast they told me I’d have to walk to the cafe. Not super guest focused in my opinion. Food was hot or miss: some things were amazing and some were at or below average. Housekeeping was on top If it and wonderful. Also, be prepared for the property to try and sell you a vacation share type thing. "

"Velas Vallarta is our new resort of choice. This is our second time vacationing here for short visits 4 to 5 days and so far so pleasant. We’ve been lucky enough to enjoy barbecues on the beach both times outstanding cuisine and entertainment poolside service is above bar, courteous and professional always. The sweets are perfect long rooms with full-size bathrooms, kitchens, and living room rooms. We love our balconies in the second building. We’ve been lucky enough to be on the sixth and seventh floors which have incredible views of the grounds and the ocean. We love Velas Vallarta and we look forward to our next visit."

View from our oceanfront room fantastic; sound of the waves at night, after beach nightlife settles down, is soothing and just lovely. The ocean is warmer this time of year and was a welcome pleasure."

"We stayed 5 nights. The rooms were clean and we enjoyed our spacious room. This hotel has several great restaurants and the buffet had lots options. The beach is private and I felt very safe staying at the Hyatt Ziva. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I used the SPA services and I was so impressed with the amenities and the staff. Will definitely go back to this hotel again. "

"The staff were exceptional and very attentive. Guest services checked on us periodically after we reported an undesirable condition in our room and made sure the rest of our stay was comfortable. The restaurant staff were wonderful and the food was very good. The people serving at the pool and beach area were amazing and always made sure we had food and drinks and provided shade. Please, even though the property is all inclusive, show appreciation for their hard work with tips. They deserve it! "

"I didnt find the difference between vip and regular stancy. The room was kind of damage like the room doors knobs were damage and the toilet sometimes didt acumulate water and sometimes didnt flush. On the pool i saw i sings that said only for adults but the bar was was onthe kids are i think this was incorrect. But other than that it was great. "

"The resort, the people…..INCREDIBLE!!The rooms,the resort grounds,the pool,the beach everything was so clean….EVERYWHERE!! People were working all the time to ensure it was a state of perfection at all times!Angel & bell staff, Javier, Alberto, Ian, Luisa, (front Desk/guest services) Brenda & Francisco-buffet,outstanding & always attentive to ensure our needs were always met! Rodriguiz assisted us when we rented our cabana (900peso)brought us endless drinks and a cerviche that was absolutely delicious!! We had dinner (twice) at a new addition called Tauro, Moises assisted to provide us with the best experience both times!!The food…..OMG….top notch!!So delicious, fresh squeezed juice every time,not just your standard OJ OR APPLE, it was celery, pineapple & orange combinations!!The events, Roberto and Cassandra never disappointed with providing activities during the day such as archery, rifle shooting, evening events such as a magic show, illuminated circus,& pirate show. kids had private seating in front!! Gift shop had everything and more! Housekeeping was amazing, replenish our bottled water, Beer, pop, NESRESSO coffee,snacks & paper/fresh towels, The beach had people selling everything to swim wraps, Pelican makes the BEST personalized bracelets, Ernesto and George have beautiful silver, The gentleman selling Mango and Tajin spice… crazy good!!
