Strand Palace Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The room was cozy and clean. I enjoyed the cookies, tea and chocolate the hotel provided in the room. The hotel staff was particularly helpful in storing my luggage while I walked around the city both before check in and after I checked out. The location was fantastic!"
"This hotel is amazing. Very chic and well designed. Closed to all main attractions. The coffee bar serves some delicious coffee and pastries. We loved our stay. Will be returning soon "
"The hotel was a different experience in having no windows but for our short stay in London it proved to be a fantastic location, wonderful service and very comfortable! Definitely recommend!!"
"We loved every little bit about this hotel! The staff were friendly and helpful. For example, we arrived after an eight hour flight well before our room was ready. The staff showed us to the restroom so we could freshen up and change. They stored our bags so we could go explore the area and get something to eat. Once we got back to the hotel, our room was ready with our bags already inside.
It’s these thoughtful little considerations that made our stay extra special. The room was clean and very comfortable!
There’s plenty in the area to see and do! Lots of fantastic dining options!
We look forward to staying again!"
"I love this hotel. It has a perfect location, in Bloomsbury, near the British Museum and a block from the subway/ tube (on the Piccadilly line, which goes to Heathrow airport). The staff is friendly and the rooms are pretty (though, as in many London hotels, there’s no air conditioning). If you don’t feel like paying for breakfast, there’s a Pret on the corner. Plus apparently the Beatles liked to stay here; you can’t get better than that. "
