"An amazing location on the Royal Mile right across the street from St. Giles Cathedral. Our room was not in the main building, but was down a Close, through a gate and up 2 flights of stairs. No elevator. The staff carried our bags up to and from the room, so no problem there. Very comfortable in all aspects. A washing/dryer combination machine was a big help, although cycle took over 4 hours. We didn't use the kitchen, but it was nice to have. Included breakfast choices were excellent as was the food. All of the staff were friendly and extremely helpful when needed. When we next visit Edinburgh, we will stay there again."

"Great stay! Loved the convoluted way to get to our room - it made us laugh so much. Room was an XL but for 4 adults it is a bit small; nevertheless we had a great time. After all the walking, relaxing with a drink while watching Wimbledon was a great way to end the day for sure. Great little hotel; not far from Grassmarket and the Royal Mile (be ready to climb); we had a great stay!"
