The staff is excellent - Rae, at the front desk could not have been more helpful and kind. My family and I were thrilled with the welcome we received, by Rae and Mike; and we were very pleased with the assistance they provided. And all staff were friendly, courteous, and professional! The room was very nice, updated. The bathroom was modern, spa-like with a great walk-in shower that had plenty of water power. The large television was also a plus. Location was a little bit of a walk uphill to the central area of the Royal Mile, but still in a good area. Overall, a very pleasant stay for us and would definitely go back again.

A really lovely stay

A really lovely stay in a great hotel. The staff were very attentive and courteous. The a la carte breakfast (salmon and eggs) was excellent. The eggs were definitely free range. We would most definitely stay here again.
