The owner checked us in and out, but other than that we were on our own-- exactly how we wanted it :) Houses are perfectly appointed with plenty of supplies for cooking and eating. "This place is magical. While the main building (with an excellent restaurant) is stately and unique, we stayed at The Brambles in a redwood grove. Being from Santa Cruz, we’re used to redwoods, but these trees—especially the Pachyderm—are amazing. The combination of Steam Punk and farmhouse decor is whimsical and delightful.
