"It was our second trip to Marrakesh after a hotel stay previously. This was a completely different experience. We knew it would be situated in the medina and so ordered a transfer from the airport which worked very well. The riad was just as it looks in the photo-very traditional, very well furnished and a delightful breakfast served either in the dining room or on the roof terrace depending on the weather. Saeed was very helpful organising a trip to the Atlas Mountains and escorting us to a nearby restaurant one evening. The owner was also delightful and spent a long time chatting to us. We look forward to returning to Morocco."

"We booked two rooms and arrived at 2:50 pm, they only had one room available. Also the pictures are of two hotel that are attached by a pool area. Not sure why they also use the other hotel photos on the listing. The rooms need improvements, they are run down. Also very noisy all day and night."

"Villa des Orangers is an original Riad, well preserved and beautifully decorated. It is an oasis of calm in a very busy city. It is so quiet on the hotel grounds and all you hear are the sounds of birds. The food is delicious and the gluten free bread is the best I have ever tasted. The staff is amazing. They remember what you like to eat or drink and will bring it to you without you asking. They are genuinely interested in your well being and as a single Traveler, I felt very well cared for. They arranged my driver, Ayoub, who was well educated and spoke both French and English. He took me to great Shops which had interesting things. I had a great trip and am so happy I chose to stay at Villa des Orangers."
