From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth, care, and genuine hospitality by Laurent, Sayid, Soufian, Fatima, and the rest of the incredible team. Their attention to detail, kindness, and professionalism truly elevated our experience to one of true luxury. The Riad itself is stunning—elegantly designed, beautifully maintained, and filled with authentic Moroccan charm. Every corner felt peaceful and comfortable, making it a perfect retreat after a day exploring the vibrant city. Despite its central location, just a short walk from key attractions, it was quiet, serene, and private—a rare find in Marrakech. What truly set this stay apart was the outstanding service. The team went above and beyond—meeting us on arrival, offering great advice, answering every question with care, organizing excursions and transport with ease and professionalism, and making us always feel safe and welcomed. It felt like we were staying with friends who genuinely wanted us to have the best experience possible. We left feeling not only relaxed and inspired by the beauty of the Riad, but deeply grateful for the warmth and generosity of everyone we met there. We can’t recommend Riad Charme d’Orient enough, and we are already dreaming of our next visit. "The riad was pretty with its intricate mosaics and decor. The front door felt like something out of lord of the rings or game of thrones. You walk through a small door thats part of a larger door. Each step to the second floor had a different pattern. The staff was helpful and friendly. They even catered to our early tour schedules and made us amazing lite breakfast everyday. The beds looked uncomfortable, but they were not at all. I didnt have any backache on vacation. The water pressure and temperature was great as well. There were plenty of outlets and cute little terrace spots through the riad to relax. Theres an open air top and a bit of plants for shade. It was always cool. We also had great AC. We learned the riad is over 2000 years old! The airport transport to and from the riad was on time, easy to find, brought us right to the door, efficient. The food at the riad was ok, but bland. They also dont have many good cocktail options but that seems to be common in Morocco. Sadly we did not use the spa or the pool. We were busy with tours most days, but the location of the riad was great for tour pick up. We were only a 3 min walk to a main street outside the kasbah. The main attractions such as jemma el fnaa market were a little far, 20 min walk, saddian tombs (10 mins), but thats great because you get to explore the street vendors and locals along the way. Make sure you lock up any and all money/valuables in your rooms so it doesnt go missing."

"Customer service is five star very willing to help but not pushy on any sales. The accommodation was always clean in and around communal areas and the food was top quality.. we also fell in love with the spa area and shopping in the hotel was more than enough to give gifts back home"

"Getting to the hotel can be a bit of a pain at first with luggage as the cobble streets and navigating around the locals and bikes. Once you find it the Riad is so nice inside. The staff are the kindest and nicest people I’ve ever encountered in any facility. The hotel was kept so clean! The room We had was perfect for us (definitely make sure to bring your own toiletries and maybe extra toilet paper/ wipes. They have one roll provided but it’s not as much in a roll compared to rolls in the states. We luckily had wipes so had no issues. Also remember to have a water bottle to brush your teeth. If you’re from the states- Morocco isn’t probably your first trip but just a reminder to get an international wall outlet (the two prong stick looking wall plug). The streets come alive at night! -I don’t recommend going too far off the beaten path at night. Also be aware of the children in the area they will tend to ask for money and will follow you to the hotel. Overall if we were to come back to Morocco we would stay here again! "

"Really nice private pool area. Buffet food is great, not fussy eaters and we liked it a lot. Coyld improve on dressed table availability....but did not bother me as on holiday so not in a rush. One thing is the fresh orange juice could be available maybe ....if too difficult then offer it to vip customer at private pool. Other wise beautiful hotel....staff are all here to help and hard working. Really good evening shows....fabulous dancers. "
