"We loved the hotel and the staff. The room was lovely and the breakfast very good. The only problem was the initial lack of a bathtub mat. The bathtub surface was very slick and the first day I slipped getting out and hit my head very hard. Fortunately I only got a large bump and no concussion, but it was still a dangerous situation. We requested a mat and got one within a few hours, so there were no further problems. Still, future guests should make sure they have a mat before they attempt to shower ."

"Fabulous hotel. Blends perfectly with the age of the surroundings. Friendly staff. Breakfast was good but I had better at the other hotels so probably not the best judge!!! Great location. Just loved this hotel and would definitely return. Booked a trip which was supposed to pick us up at our hotel but because of the narrow street we had to walk a block to get the bus. No big deal. "
