"We loved our stay at the Grand Bach. The area is so nice and very convenient for getting around Tokyo on the trains. The rooms were quiet and large. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Highly recommend."

"We had a wonderful stay here. The staff were friendly, the hotel was very clean and in a SUPERB location—there are like 3 subway stations in <5min walk and we could get almost everywhere without any transfers. There is a 24h convenience store on the ground floor with good coffee and onigiris, etc, which we used for breakfast most days, and we were grateful for the coin laundry in the lobby. Just note the rooms are very small. We kept our luggage upright against the wall as there was no room to open it and walk from the bed to the door. But I’d happily stay here again."

"Breakfast food was edible. Nothing special warranting the price. The toiletries were really good and lux. That is where my praise ends. This hotel appears to not have enough staff, yet this last straw occurred in front of 2 employees who could have helped at any time. I explained that i have invisible disabilites (EDS, MCAS, scleroderma) that requires.help with my luggage. They didnt care. The male employees watched me shake and struggle & wince in agony, but they simply pretended not to see me. Any friendliness was so forced that it was uncomfortable. I spent over 1k to be there, only to be treated worse than a motel in my home country. Thought I was in an APA hotel for a sec given how much they seemed to dislike me for no reason (iykyk). The onsen is great except for the fact that it is COVERED in black mold & mildew. It smelled like a sewer and there was visible mold on the wood shelves etc. Really felt marginalized at this hotel, for the first time ever in Japan. The female employees were mostly lovely, and the rooms dated but comfy, hence me giving stars at all. If issues like this are addressed, I would recommend it, but at this time I simply can't. 😞 paying $270+ a night is outrageous for what you get. "

"Small room in a great location, microwave and washing machine in the room was very helpful during the trip. The staff were very kind to offer me a high level room with a bit of the view of Tokyo Tower. I would try to book a bigger room next time. No frills hotel in Tokyo and decent for a solo traveler but will be hard for 2+ people to fit. They also offer the Yamato service for bag delivery. "

"We loved the location, close to a train station, in walking distance to both Tsukiji market and Ginza shopping, lots of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. A great coffee roaster right down the street. The only negatives we have are not enough places to hang towels or unpack clothes and only 2 washer/dryers. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay, the staff were great."

"About the only good thing about this hotel is its location in the heart of Ginza. Everything else is lacking. The room: Too small and is missing the basic necessities; if you need anything even such as a glass of water you have to go down to the lobby to get it .. a major hassle. The staff: mostly friendly and surprisingly speak English well. The lobby: is supposed to be a quite place for you to relax but at this property is is filled with people ALL the time; bags are everywhere in the lobby. Services: breakfast is very basic and the restaurant is too small. If you really need and want to be in Ginza this is an okay option; there are better alternatives in the Ginza area or if you slightly go to other parts of the city your options increase dramatically. "
