Couple of fast food places close to walk to. Some homeless camps close by, but was not disturbed by anyone. Staff is helpful and friendly. Would stay here again. "

"I loved staying here! I needed a little vacation for a few days so the Kings Rest was a good pick. The owner man working the front desk was very kind. I had read some reviews before & they had said it was dirty but I don’t agree. It was very clean & my expectations were met. Yes you can hear people but that is only if they’re loud! If you turn on the AC/Heater you’ll be just fine. I would love to stay here again! "

"My sister was with us and the guy at the counter was rude about her being charged a $10 extra fee since we didn’t know if she was going to be coming up north with us. On the website it said children 17 and under are free. Also said extra adult is $5 a person. "It looked cleaned and it was not they only had one towel one bar of soap and shampoo . The water from the shower got all over the floor and they have cockroaches could leave or drinks or food on thehe desk cause they would be all over and in your food and drinks. "

"This hotel is perfect in every way! It is furnished in a tasteful mid century way. The check-in was was quick and efficient. My room has everything I need: A queen-sized bed with fresh linens and lots of pillows. A large upholstered side chair, and plantation shutters on the window to block out light. A closet, flat screen t.v., and a good-sized bathroom. There is plenty of parking and the hotel is conveniently located right next to a Denny’s and an In & Out burger restaurant. A nice breakfast...
