"This is one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. They pay attention to every detail. We were warmly greeted and even got drinks and snacks upon arrival. It was hot outside but they had already turned out a/c on in our room so it felt great to relax. The room was clean and spacious and perfect for our short stay. Our flight was delayed and they even made us a takeaway breakfast with sandwiches and fruit at 3am! Highly recommended this wonderful gem if you ever find yourself in Hanoi old quarter. "

" Just spent few days in Hanoi. And Royal Palace hotel is one of the best hotel so far. If you're travelling alone, this hotel is located in Old Quarter area, which popular for tourists, and also near the St Joseph Cathedral. The hotel manager (Jimmy) is a nice guy. He told me some information about Hanoi. And it was useful, since i travelled alone :-). The room is nice, modern mix retro style. Which i love it. The AC is good. Shower with hot water. Clean and tidy. "

"It was ideally situated although not always easy to navigate back to. However an ideal hotel for the Old Quarter with lots of places to eat within close access. A very walkable area with no concerns about security..The staff were friendly and helpful and I had no concerns about standards in the hotel. The room was cleaned regularly, breakfast was good with adequate choice. I would have liked a room with a balcony : the room I got was fine but with no outlook. I wonder if paying upfront via Expedia leaves you open to being given a lesser room, although I am sure I was told it was an upgrade."
