"A great place to stay when visiting the Old Quarter! The staff is terrific; EVERYONE who works there is extremely friendly and helpful! Anna and Mia will help you book excursions and the rooms are clean, spacious and quiet. Easy walk into the heart of the Old Quarter, which is just steps away. We stayed 3 different nights in between trips out of town and it worked out great; they stored our bags and always made sure we made our connections to Sapa, Halong Bay and the airport without any problems. I highly recommend!"

"Fabulous hotel on the edge of the old quarter. Easily walkable. Room was quite small but perfect for me as a solo traveller. Breakfast was really good with lots of delicious options. Staff were super friendly and very helpful. Highly recommended "

"I must say, I travel quite a bit and the Grand Hotel du Lac in Hanoi was spectacular. Gorgeous lobby, rooms and eating area. Yet what is even more amazing about this Hotel is the staff. Everyone speaks perfect English and is extremely courteous and helpful. Lily and Jack were especially instrumental in helping me navigate around the city. They added me to a WhatsApp chat and were extremely accommodating, responsive and easy to get a hold of, calling me cabs several times. They negotiated with the can driver on my behalf and when I didnt have time to go back to the hotel day of my return they arranged to have my luggage sent to the airport and coordinated so it showed up exactly when I arrived. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Hanoi, look no further. Love this place and all the staff!"

"Great location , close to the old quarter and lake so extremely convenient. One of the best breakfast options during our trip. Staff are very helpful. Spa was average . The rooms were very clean but a little small esp with international travelers luggage . "

"Had a great stay here. Perfect location. Staff is top level. I had an issue the first night and the next day they caught me as I was leaving for the day and asked if they can go in the room. I came back and everything was fixed. The staff themselves are all super friendly and very welcoming. I’ll miss my morning chats with the front desk manager. She was amazing. Full of tips and recommendations. They even got me a cake for when I was leaving. Also the bed was the best bed my entire trip throughout Vietnam. Will deff come back here if I were to return to Hanoi. "
