"This was a girls' trip, and since we didn’t have a car, Maritza’s location was absolutely perfect! The hotel is within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and shopping, making everything so convenient. The daily breakfast was delicious and a great way to start the day. The property is well-kept, and the rooms have been beautifully renovated. We’ll definitely be back for another Pura Vida girls trip!"

"My partner and I (LGBTQ community) stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful time! It was our anniversary and the staff helped me arrange a special cake from De Gustibus waiting in our room upon our arrival! It was so very special for us. The hotel was very walkable to the central part of Puerto Viejo and also very quiet neighborhood with it tucked back a bit. We did get woken up pretty early (5:30am) a few days of our stay because they serve breakfast starting at 7am and with it being designed as a horseshoe, we could hear the staff talking and utensils clinking as they started working. I think this place would be better off doing lunch/dinner instead of breakfast because of this reason. We booked the adult-only to hopefully have some late quiet mornings, but overall the quality of our stay was amazing and we would stay here again! "
"Really good location. We walked to the beach & walked into town. Great location to explore from. We loved walking around with our dogs and loved eating & relaxing on beaches. Unbelievably fun place. Fantastic property manager!! When it was raining we sat on the porch and fought to stay awake, the sound of rain on trees is magnificent. "
"This was a great place to work from for a week. Internet connection was great. Keep in mind you will have road noise especially on weekend's but the beach waves you can also hear. The beach is beautiful just across from the house.Tons of wildlife sloth, toucans, poision dart frogs . Also theres good gricery stores and town with shoping and restaurants within walking distance. "The lodging and grounds were beautiful and it’s so obvious how much love and time Daniel and Renata have put into their wonderful vacation accommodations. We saw so many birds, Toucan’s, a sloth, agouti’s, and even a caiman in their lagoon. They answered all of our questions, made great arrangements for tours, and made sure we had everything we needed daily! After a long day of hiking, etc. it was so refreshing to end the day with a swim in the pool. You won’t be disappointed! Thanks Daniel and Renata for an unforgettable vacation. "
