"El lugar me pareció hermoso, si deseas vivir una experiencia de selva es un lugar muy lindo, con acceso a la playa que es muy linda. Sin embargo al reservar me hubiera gustado saber que las habitaciones no tienen paredes sólidas es una malla únicamente con cortinas, y con un bebé fue un poco complicada la estancia adicional hubieron huéspedes desconsiderados que ponían música a alto volumen en las Noches y madrugada y el no contar con paredes en la Habitación afectaba el descanso, creo que el Hotel debería poner esas reglas claras desde un inicio, es un lugar de descanso en medio de la naturaleza pero esas situaciones no lo permiten."

"Excellent staff and the property is reminiscent of a resort more so than a hotel/stay. Access to beach is extremely easy, attached to the backside of the property, though the beachfront is not 'developed' or 'set up' so do not expect a resort-like sun-chair set up. Excellent location if you want to be away from the hustle bustle of puerto viejo, but still biking distance to get to all the shops and cafes. Fabiano at the front desk, and Rosita for breakfast service, were both absolute delights and extremely helpful :)"

"Nice swimming pool, staff friendly and very helpful. Kitchen very well equipped and functional. Location great- Very close to a beach, national park entrance and bus stop. Unfortunately there is a plumbing issue so there was often a nasty smell by the poolside and both toilets in our rooms didn’t flush properly."

"The property is managed really well. I had actually left my passport in the house and driven all the way back to San Jose without realizing it. They were very helpful in getting an uber driver to drive the passport all the way to San Jose for me. This was a big life saver. The property itself could use some TLC. The washer stopped working on the last day we were there and the hot water was not very reliable. However, the layout was amazing and made up for these minor inconveniences in a big way. You don't need to do a night tour when staying here. Just pack a flashlight and walk around. You will find every kind of tree frog there is. During the day, howler monkeys and spider monkeys are all around. And right across the road, there is a restaurant called Mocha that is really nice.The trail to the beach is a bit treacherous, but once you walk it, you have the beach to yourself. We rarely saw anyone while we were there. As a family it was great to have that level of privacy. I would definitely recommend this property for the adventurous family that enjoys unplugging and exploring."

"The glamping domes are not for those looking for a hotel with all of the amenities. It is glamping. The domes are smack dab in the middle of a forest surrounded by lots of nature. The ocean is steps away with a very private beach. The water was pretty rough in June, but still beautiful. Breakfast was delicious. The showers at the domes are cold water only; however, there is a separate hot water shower on the grounds. The zipper and small opening to some of the domes can be difficult to move in and out of (some have larger doors). Overall, it was okay."

"This review is delayed but necessary! Our experience with this VRBO was nothing short of perfect. The property manager was unbelievably attentive as we had a few hiccups. She responded right away and fixed things immediately - going as far as sending a driver late at night to get our wash and finish drying it at her personal house when the dryer went on the fritz! Other than that amazing service, the house and property are more than we could have imagined. On our first day, we spotted a sloth hanging out in the tree just outside of the pool area, a coati walked through the courtyard one night, so many singing howler monkeys, toucans, parrots, lizards, salamanders and just amazing jungle wildlife. Sitting under the patio roof, listening to music through Alexa and just observing was my favorite part.Despite the unprecedented pouring rain we had for most of our week there, we still had a blast! We became one with the humidity and relished in the massive showers after our jungle expeditions. The fact that we could open the floor to ceiling window/doors and look at banana trees while we showered was sensorily beyond anything I've ever experienced. The short walk to the beach was always filled with discoveries of wildlife or cheerful passersby. There are some stationary beach chairs at the beach entrance that were useful. The ocean was wild while we were there, due to the storms, but it was still incredible. It was truly one of the best experiences we've ever had. "
