"What a beautiful property and such great staff. Everyone was very helpful and kind. Alex received us great and even provided us with a welcome coconut drink. So refreshing! The waitresses were so sweet. Anastasia was great, as were the two other young ladies! Breakfast was awesome every morning. The hotel does offer dinner but we were out in the city hanging out and did not have the pleasure of joining other guests. We can’t wait to go back and enjoy another stay. "A little off the unbeaten path. But superb in every way. Breakfast fit for a king."

"Precioso hotel en la playa. Personal muy servicial y amable. Zona de la piscina preciosa. Puedes ver fauna local en sus instalaciones."

"The property was beautiful and clean, the staff was lovely and incredibly helpful, and the breakfast was amazing! Having only one coffee in the room for the 4 mornings (i.e. not replaced each day) was disappointing, but forced us to go out for a local coffee instead. Having small/snack items for late arrivals and/or while the bar is open would be a great idea."

"Excelente servicio Todo el Staff excelente Barny excelente anfitrión"

"Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Zeer uitgebreid ontbijt, zeer ruime kamer. Voldoende parkeergelegenheid. Het zwembad is niet heel groot en er zijn niet veel ligbedden. De ligging is aan de rand van Puerto Viejo maar fietsverhuur en restaurants nog steeds op loopafstand."

"Wirklich toll hier. Alle sehr aufmerksam. Die Häuser sind sehr sauber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden."

"The property was quaint and peaceful. The breakfast was amazing. Thank you for everything."

"Great hostel"

"Our rental was incredible and spacious."

"Our favorite place Beach front, with all amenities needed when traveling with the family. Ideal for kids"

"Our family stayed for a second time at the Kukula Lodge and it again exceeded expectations. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful, the grounds are extremely well-kept, rooms are clean and comfortable, breakfast is plentiful and delicious . . . and the lodge is just a few minutes' walk to the beach. To top it off, the price is very reasonable- what more could you want? It was truly a pleasure to stay at Kukula Lodge and we will certainly be back!"

"El desayuno incluido tiene pocas opciones de proteínas y cuando el hotel esta lleno, no hay para todos la fruta y refresco natural, asi como los panes, personalmente preferia la opcion tipo buffet que tenian antes. Aparte de esto, el personal es excelente!"

"Excelente ubicación en primera línea de playa"

"Excelelente servicio"

"Recomiendo todo al 100, la dueña super. Fijo volveré"
