"It was a nice property with a nice clean pool to use. The air conditioning in bedrooms is a plus. Be aware that there is no washer available for individual use. You have to work with the care taker and pay a small charge. The pool is at least four feet deep the whole way. It does feel like you are in a jungle."

"Beautiful paradise, a quiet sanctuary. We loved our stay. Unique. Marise and Pierre, the owners, were kind and made us feel quite at home. Pierre gave us tours around the property and nearby beach, showing us sloths, iguanas, birds, and other animals. The room, pool, and property were clean, well-kept, and comfortable. The Cahuita community and vibe was calm and laid back, restaurants were great. Thank you for the time and care you showed us, I have tears in my eyes as write this!"

"I appreciated the silence in the night, the swimming pool, the breakfast with the best bread I had in Costa Rica, the beach right across the street, and having different sizes of pillows to choose from. Everything was stellar, save for a little detail: there was no hot water in the shower. I pointed out on the first morning, but it was the same on the next day. Fortunately, room temperature water is not too cold in Cahuita."

"This was definitely an experience our family will not forget. Rustic and open jungle living and even had the property dog spend time with us which we enjoyed. Beautiful private beach which was a bit of a trek but also part of the experience."

"Ives is one of the greatest hosts I have crossed paths with. His attentiveness and helpfulness made me feel truly cared for, which is essential for a comfortable stay. His property is spectacular, with a clean, beautiful, warm pool and a very well-crafted garden that invites relaxation and admiration. Cahuita, on the other hand, is a truly spectacular place that promises memorable experiences for every visitor. @maiki.25 is a great guide for the park walk along the beach"

"The property is gorgeous, the view is even better. The bungalow was spacious, spotless, and had everything needed for a perfect retreat. Park your car and let Carlos drive up the harrowing hillside, you’ll thank me later! I came late in the season after a powerful thunderstorm so the pool was closed, also there were no other guests, made for a lonely stay."

"This delightful eco lodge felt so laid back and relaxed, while also providing lovely amenities that we felt so taken care of. We stayed in one of their queen-bed bungalos which was open air (but screened in) and had a hot shower. Only having wifi at the lodge meant we fully unplugged while in our little jungle home, but we're still able to have access in the common area for trip planning which was helpful. We loved being able to walk across the street to Playa Chiquita, which has the loveliest little tree covered beach spots for reading and spending the day. The staff was so friendly and welcoming, and our room came with complimentary breakfast and fresh juice / smoothie which was so nice to have and always different every day. It was also very cool to be in the jungle... The pathways between the different areas of the property were lovely to walk on and we saw so much wildlife (including monkeys swinging in the trees overhead!). Having the yoga deck was also great because there were options for classes. We did a sound bowl with a local energy worker and intuitive which was a special experience. I would definitely recommend to friends! "
