"Very old colonial estate in central old town Cuenca. If you’re bothered by creaky wood floors and everything old and small rooms, this is not for you. But if you’re enchanted by the quaint setting, kind helpful staff and easy walking access to downtown Cuenca, it’s wonderful. Great price, safe and calm setting "

"The place is beautiful!! Close to restaurants, transportation and museums. Had breakfast several times on the balcony overlooking the river. We met the property manager, Cecilia, when we arrived. She gave us a tour of the property and how everything worked. The owner, Bruce, kept us informed of area events via email. Bruce provided a guest guide in the condo - it provide EVERYTHING. Instructions on how every item in the condo worked and what restaurants were open on Sunday/Monday. This made vacation planning so much easier. I can't say enough good things about this place. There was a care package of coffee, wine and snacks when we arrived. The whole place was spotless. I'm already planning my next trip and am hoping that Bruce's place is available.!!!!"
