Everything was perfectly fine. The staff didn't speak English, as is common in Ecuador, but using Google Translate worked fine. The property is just around the corner from the Planetario, which was worth the quick trip. It is within a 15-minute walk from the Cathedral. I craved junk food while I was there, and McDonald's is a block away. Good salads. The receptionist told me my room was small and offered another, but it was on the ground floor, so - no stairway. I was just a party of one, so the size made no difference to me and it was fine. I would stay there again.
