"First we were told that we were upgraded for free to a room with a view of the River and of Ponte Vecchio. That was already a win!!! The view from the hotel room was so so beautiful. The staff were super friendly and polite and professional. The next best thing about the hotel is the buffet breakfast spread! Of all the hotels we stayed in Italy, this hotel had the best breakfast spread and the food was great quality. We especially enjoyed the variety of pastries that were nicer than those cafes...

"The hotel and all the staff was excellent. I'd definitely recommend staying. The standard double room wasn't large but felt lovely and the high ceilings made it feel special. The decor was clean and updated although as the internal ensuite bathroom had a non functional fan I've marked it down a little. Our room's window looked out to a back street with an ok city scape that was only spoilt by the ubiquitous air conditioning sounds. Annoying!"

"The hosts were very friendly. I was only in the city for two nights but my host took the time to map out all the major attractions in the city, some that were away from the city center and gave me the best recommendations for where to eat(where the locals eat). Great experience! "

"Great location, 1 min to Duomo and 10 minute walk from station. Room good size and modern bathroom, good shower. Cleaned daily. It is an older building and our room was at reception which did make it a bit noisier at times, but for all the time your in your room caused no issues. Check in and check out good and no other contact required with the staff. Secure access "
