"Lovely hotel about 10 min walk from many major sites. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our room overlooked the river with a great view. The room was well maintained and kept clean on a daily basis. The only challenge was the stairs leading to the elevator but the hotel management was very upfront about this fact and the walk up was worth it for this great hotel, in our opinion. "

"If you want to be in the thick of Florence, this is where you need to stay. A quaint and actually quiet, old school, small 1-floor hotel basically on the steps of the Duomo. While others might think the hotel needs a bit of an upgrade, I feel like the vintage nature of it's surroundings adds to its charm. Everything was extremely clean and the front desk staff were always lovely and polite and acknowledged you when you walked by. I would recommend this place and stay here again myself."

"We arrived at the property to be greeted by a grumpy receptionist who was arguing with another member of staff. We were told where our room was and went up. Very tiny room with a rickety old wardrobe which you had to slam to close. We had breakfast on our first morning. Bread, cheese spread, croissants and not very Italian coffee were all that was on offer. The bathroom was tiny but functional and clean but absolutely nowhere to put toiletries.
