"This was a clean, comfortable room for one night to go to Kings Dominion. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean but very small and dated. The area around the buildings could’ve been cleaner. We would stay again for a visit to the park. "

A must try if you havent ever been....go eat at Jakes Place, homestyle southern cuisine. It's about 15 min from hotel and has to be one of the best restaurants we've ever been to. Go hungry as you will find everything on menu sounds and taste devine.

I was surprised by the lack of places to eat around here. It seems that most of restaurants are in Kings Dominion. I traveled to Ashland to find a place to dine.

"Loved the quirkiness of the property. Everything was pink. Our room was decorated as a Freda room. We came to Richmond to see the Freda exhibit.
The staff were extremely friendly & helpful. My only complaint was the bathroom: the stopper in the sink would not let the water drain & you had to jiggle the toilet to get the water to stop."
"The bed was comfortable. Despite the rundown-ness of the bathroom, the shower worked really well. What we had a har time with was the amount of bugs in the room. No bed bugs or cockroaches, but just way too many insects."
