"Nice quiet hotel with comfortable beds. Our 1st room smelt a bit musty near the sink so they agreed to move us to a different room, much appreciated. The hotel has a good buffet breakfast with western and Asian choices. We didn’t try the onsen as it was closed for maintenance, there were family private ones available but too long a wait. Location is a bit far from the old town but is walkable, about 20 minutes. Morning market beside the river is worth visit."

Porter service was convenient and helped us to bring our luggages to our room. Toyota car rental in located in the same building. "This is a near perfect hotel to stay in while visiting Kanazawa as a tourist. The hotel - situated in the heart of the high end shopping district - is a short walk to the main fish market, the samurai district or a beautiful park entrance to Kanazawa Castle park. You can walk to the main historic district as well, but that is a 15-20 minute walk so the viability of that walk is up to you. There is a 24 hour convenience store across the street for last minute snacks. The hotel is very clean and modern, making it perfect for business travelers or couples, but there were also families here as well. The service is exactly what you’d expect from a Japanese business; everyone is friendly and helpful. They also spoke more than enough English if you need that. "
