Shopping Hotels in Toyama Prefecture from SAR 215

"A very interesting experience. No shoes allowed at all inside the hotel. It’s amusing to see all the guests in slippers or socks including in the elevators and in the lobby. There is also the habit of people wandering in their kimonos which are provided by the hotel in order to access the onsens. The onsen was excellent and very high end. The restaurants in the area were a bit limited. No cute little streets and alleys full of restaurants . We were very close to interesting sites to visit. The only complaint is when using the toilet the hall light was movement triggered and would come full on. It could be a problem for light sleepers. "

"Onsens are different from hotels. I would have liked to have been scheduled for the KAISEKI evening meal, as this is a large part of the ONSEN culture. Booking websites have no accomodation for this when customers book, and we go uninformed. This is regretful from my point of view. The Kaiseki meal is something I looked forward to. What can Expedia do about this?"

"Nice facilities with an onsen and hospitality bar from 3-9 pm with beer, juices and expresso drinks. Great breakfast serving Japanese and western dishes. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend and will book future stays in Takayama at this hotel. "

"Location is great, just 5 mins away from train station. Plenty of eateries as well Room feels comfortable & clean with aircon (not central). There is also water dispenser at the lobby which is good. Amenities given especially for skincare are excellent. They also provide luggage delivery service which is good if you are going to the alpine route highly recommended"
