Shopping Hotels in Bahamas from SAR160

"My wife and I stayed at the British Colonial Hotel 35 years ago on our Honeymoon. We came back and wanted to stay there again. I booked through Hotels and we recieved a room facing the steet. I spoke to the manager (Virginia) i believe her name was, inquiring anout an ocean facing room. She had us switched that day. It really made our trip special, and brought back so many memories. Thank you to the whole staff who treated us so well."

"This was my second time back to the beautiful island, I love it there and will be going back. My only complaint would be due you covid and being under staffed the property is not fully operational. I think there needs to be more posting up of what is open, blocked off, available and so on posted for the visitors. That would make things a little easier as you walk around the property."

"Most of Grand Lucayan is closed from hurricane Mathew but you don't know this until you arrive. All guests have to stay at Lighthouse point which is nice but with not nearly as many amenities. 2 less pools , less convenient dining options, the Casino never reopened. Some of the staff, outdoor bar. Towel hut, seemed to have lost that happy, helpful, attitude, one bartender was even rude everyday. While others were their usual respectful, helpful Bahamian spirit They hours of restaurants...

"The property and beach were gorgeous, staff were all very friendly. The room we had was pretty dated but the air conditioning was super cold, that isn’t something we always find on islands. Food wasn’t bad for a buffer, a decent variety. We will definitely be back in the future. "
