"Do yourself a favor and stay at this hotel. It's walking distance from everything ( great food and shopping). This hotel has a restaurant that's awesome! The breakfast is a must and the drinks and dinner was excellent! We didn't have lunch here but I'm sure it's great. The staff is so hospitable! Valentina and Deborah ( I only remember these names but everyone was good) made us feel so welcomed there. We planned a boat trip and it was supposed to rain a little that day. I was hesitant about the rain but Valentina assured us it would be worth it!! And it was!! The skipper Alberto was patient and knowledgeable! The hotel packed a beautiful bag with food for the boat ride. I almost cried. It was beautifully packed for us. They have a shuttle service that was so convenient. I got sick one night and I had to leave our dinner ( somewhere else) and when I came back I must have looked horrible. Deborah said what do you need? How can we help you? I said I just needed to lay down. These people are soooo caring. I hope the manager realizes what he has in his staff. They are wonderful people. We stayed at a few other hotels in Zurich and we all said it's not Avenue Boutique. We so enjoyed it and we are ever in Como again. We will stay here for Sure!! "

"I stayed in a single room with a twin bed, desk, area to put luggage and a nice bathroom with a small shower. There wss a closet with a safe. Breakfast had coffee, tea, scrambled eggs, bacon, meat, cheese, bread, yogurt, fruit, croissants and a fruit torte. Breakfast was excellent. My room was on the courtyard so it wss quiet. On Friday night, they had a very loud rock concert going on in the square until 11:30 p.m. which could be heard in my room. Francesco at the front desk was very helpful. I would definitely go back."

"Convenient property located right in the heart of Como. Easy walking distance to the lake, dining options and cafes. The room on the first floor was clean and bright, with everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this property and would stay here again in the future."
