"Let me start with this stuff first: -VERY CLEAN PROPERTY. -Mini kitchen was cute and useful! -Fireplace is a nice touch. -Staff we communicated with was very kind and helpful about multiple issues. Backstory: We booked a 2-night stay at Elfreide's Haus (one of the Boutique Cabine through N+P Boutique) during our stay in Big Bear CA. Although there were quite a few "hiccups" during our stay; I'm still willing to give N+P a strong review! Solely due to the wonderfully attentive Property Manager (Stephanie); who assisted us during our stay. They unfortunately booked a massive "mock wedding" photo shoot, literally on the exact 2 days we were visiting. Yikes! So our "quiet" mountain-town visit, ended up full of models, photographers, and an entire moving-team setting up countless wedding decor and staging mock dinners and bride/groom shots. The included community bicycles also had very flat tires, which made them nearly impossible to ride; and they were unable to be inflated until we no longer needed them. Regardless! Please hear me out! We absolutely LOVED our stay at Elfreide's Haus! We would most certainly stay here again! And we have told all of our friend's and family members nothing but good things about this facility! Stephanie tried her absolute best to assist us, and take care of us, as she was WELL AWARE that our quiet vacation, wasn't so quiet. Thanks Stephanie! We truly appreciate you. Hope to visit again sometime, for a better 2nd time stay! :-)"

"No hangers in the wardrobe. Bring your own. No cutting board and cattle at the kitchen. Some pans don’t have covers. Kitchen dishes and glasses set very basic. The floor inside the unit has many single steps stairs. 2 steps from living room to the kitchen. One step from kitchen to the bathroom. Watch your steps, you may fall. House has 2 queen beds. One is comfortable, another one has thin foam mattress that is smaller than a bed frame, be careful. Balcony door doesn’t have a lock, kids may run out to the balcony, nothing prevents them from open the door."

"This property has a lot of great features. First, parking is awesome. Most rentals in Big Bear want to limit you to 2 vehicles. This place has a HUGE driveway that easily held five large trucks. Second thing that is great about this property is the location. You are right on the water with great views of the lake from the decks. Also, you are very close to the Village. Third thing we liked was that there was plenty of space. You get two houses with this rental making it great for a large group. Lastly, our Host was very responsive. We had an issue with our key code and they responded within 5 minutes to resolve the issue. Overall, great place and exactly what I would expect at this price point."

"We've stayed at many places in Big Bear, and this beautiful house was the best. It is very near the lake so the location is great. The house is a combination of old charm and modern features (in the best possible way). The kitchen is unbelievable, with a professional stove and oven, a dining room and a living room. There are three bedrooms and three bathrooms, plus an easily accessible washing machine and dryer (not in a basement but in a nice area). There is a lovely deck with a big table and chairs, plus a hot tub. There is also a casita, which we didn't use; it would need to be aired out to be comfortable. (We noticed that the outlets on the side of the kitchen don't work, so hopefully Avantstay can check that out; they could also oil the door on the master bathroom, which creaks. ;-) Whoever designed this house did a wonderful job. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return to this lovely house!"
