"The hotel was in a great location was very walkable to dining and shopping. My room was on the first floor and was fairly noisy at night due to foot traffic and nightlife nearby. I'd recommend asking for a room away from the street and on a higher floor to mitigate the sound if you want a quiet night. "

"Great walkable location for cruise terminal, old Bergen and many ‘must see’ sites. We economised and selected small double room which was perfectly adequate. Norway often has breakfast and dinner included. Both were varied, tasty and fresh - saved a lot , leaving more to spend elsewhere. Building is fabulous / recommend climbing to the top of the tower for great view and to appreciate its maritime connections. Slightly shabby decor in places, if that offends you, but didn’t trouble us one bit!...

Suggestion for improvement: especially given how many seniors stay at the hotel: add grab bars, non-slip mats to the tub/shower facility. "

"As others have said, this is a basic room with a bed, bathroom, desk and chair and not much room for anything else. Having said that, the bed was very comfortable. Be sure to ask the Host for a fan if it gets too warm as there is no A/C and the window didn't open much. Convenient to downtown: across the street from the Grieg Concert Hall and a market, 5 minute walk to the bus station, train station, light rail station, 10-15 minute walk to the fish market. No TV in the room but there is one in...
