"Well located hotel with friendly staff and good dining options. The room was a good size but suffered from poor ventilation and no air conditioning. The bathroom fan did not work. So overall the room was hot, stuffy and uncomfortable. It was more refreshing in the corridor. The window opened slightly but the street was noisy until late a night. "

"The breakfast buffet here was fabulous. I also enjoyed the large soaking tub in my room. The location was perfect. It was a bit noisy at night because there was a club across the street, but I had good earplugs. There were many tripping hazards in the hallways and in the room, so would not recommend for the elderly, but it is a historic building. I’d stay here again. "

"An excellent hotel in a great location. The area immediately surrounding the property is very pleasant and is conveniently located with all Bergen attractions being within easy walking distance. The terminus of the light Railway from the airport is only a few minutes walk away. You really can’t go wrong. It is clean, comfortable and the staff are so helpful and genuinely friendly. The daily room servicing was efficient and thorough. The breakfast had plenty of choice and was great quality. We loved Bergen and will probably return. If we do there is no question where we would stay."
