It is a nice hotel in a great location. As typical to European rooms, they were small but adequate. The beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were nice food, breakfast buffet was excellent.

I loved staying here, although I moved to another hotel after staying here for three days. I wish I could stay here until the end of my trip. Excellent breakfast--$20 was so worth it to explore different food options, including a variety of breads, fruits, protein, fish, and soup. The room was spacious and clean. The bed and blackets were so comfortable that I couldn't get up quickly after I woke up. I stayed with my friend, and we both had large luggage, but the room still accommodated us. The staff service was great, and the hotel has many pleasant spaces on the lobby floor where you can sit, sip coffee, chat with friends, or even work.

Scandic Neptun is perfectly located—an easy walk to the harbor, Bryggen, and lots of great food and beer spots. The breakfast was excellent with a big variety and fresh options. Our room faced the inner courtyard, so no view—just other rooms across—but it was quiet and comfortable. Overall, a solid base for exploring Bergen!
