"The property was amazing! The wildlife was amazing! Pool bar was great Eloy is the man! Moses on the cart is awesome and an asset to this hotel. Samantha in building 21 was extremely helpful with our questions. The buffets were average we all found something we could eat. The steakhouse and the oriental restaurants were excellent. The Mexican restaurant was terrible the food was awful. The best breakfast was at the lagoon buffet get the omelette. Rosita at the lobby bar was a great server and her personality was so great. Check in and check out we’re very simple. Not sure the name of our house keeper in building 21 3rd floor but wow she was amazing. We would absolutely go back if we decide to return to plya del Carmen. "

"This is my 4th time staying at this Riu Riviera Maya Hotel and it was not a disappointment once again. I highly recommend it. The staff is overly pleasant and the hotel itself is very nice and clean. The night shows are very nice. It's like 20 min walking to downtown Playa del Carmen. I highly recommend it. "
