"The property and the stay was great. However, during after-hours, the number to the front desk routes to a Support Center. We had a challenging time informing the hotel about a late, after-hours check-in. The phone connection was bad, the Support person barely understood what we were saying. Informed us to 'email' the front desk about the late check-in. Once we reached the hotel, the in-person after-hours check-in was smooth"

"My family and I went there for a little mini getaway and we knew we would enjoy with the moment we walked in. The atmosphere was phenomenal! However, we had some issues with valet. There was a couple of times we were marked as checked out guests when we did not check out. We also wished that there were microwaves in the room as we had a lot of left overs from eating out at restaurants and would have been nice to have to warm up our food as a snack. "

The girl tried to tell me that I couldn’t have my room because I didn’t have ID despite the fact that the room was paid for. I had to push in order for her to find a way to check me in, (look at my credit cards, Costco card, the confirmation in my email). "My first interactions were with Cat at the front desk, she was professional, accommodating, polite, and she was hustling. Hotel was a nice old property, would have preferred automatic daily cleaning without having to ask for it. The lower marks on location were simply because there are Homeless all over Portland, I dont think thats going to be any different anywhere else without a change in government."

"Such an adorable hotel! The front desk staff were so kind, and the rooms were cute and well appointed. The housekeeping staff, however, needs a bit of an improvement. Our room was never cleaned and when we initially checked in, it was obvious our room hadn’t been dusted in awhile. Not a huge deal, in the long run, but it’s unfortunate because this could be a great hotel if that one area was improved. "
