My first review of a hotel is always how kind and helpful the front desk is and the comfort of the bed. Both were excellent! The restaurant and bar is small but has the best food and drinks that I have had in this area of hotels. Very clean hotel and doesn't have that motel smell that alot of hotels have. I would definitely stay here again.

I really enjoyed my stay here! I loved being downtown and easily walk or use public transportation to the places I wanted to go. The front desk staff are nice, welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and I loved the amenities and loved the tv and king size bed. I would stay here again for sure!

While I was excited to come to Portland for the first time to my son’s company event. I found myself greeted by nice staff but moments later rolling my sheets back to find blood stains on the inner layer of sheets on my beds (avoid the 13th floor) and I called front desk and was switched the same night. Next morning, as I got out the shower I noticed water was leaking from the back shower corner to the bedroom (room 1412) and formed a puddle near my suitcase. Once again I called the front desk and they sent up engineering, he confirmed there was missing caulk in the bottom corner and my third room would be ready by time I got back from breakfast with my son. After breakfast, I came back to find the puddle still there (three hours later) but my third room would be next door. Even after all this, no one at the front desk was apologetic or anything. The event and main reason why I came to Portland was great but next time I wished I would have read more reviews or chose a different place.
