"We had a room with a private bath on the balcony. Our room was very clean and well appointed. My husband and I had separate single beds - not sure if I made a mistake with the booking or if that was standard. The location of the hotel is stunning. The staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. There was a shuttle bus from the local train station which we didn’t know until a couple of days before our trip. The included teppinyaki dinner was one of our favourite dinners in our whole time...

"Our first stay in a Rakuten property and it won’t be our last. Loved the room, which was more an apartment really. Every thing we would or could need was provided though I wasn’t expecting a telescope to see the stars! Check in was digital and very easy. Welcome pack was unexpected and very good - especially the red wine. Loved the private onsen and balcony foot spa. There was also a sauna but we didn’t use that. 10/10. "
