"This hotel is in a GREAT location. It is only a 5-15 minute walk to most of the touristy Royal Mile things. There is a Sainsbury's and a Costa Coffee right next door. And a bus stop right outside the doors (although we walked everywhere). The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming. We weren't in the room much, except to sleep, and it was perfect for that."

"After I checked out of my hotel room, I walked to the nearby Edinburgh airport and discovered my flight had been cancelled and I was stuck for almost 12 hours before flying off. The hotel staff graciously allowed me to reenter my room,. (The room had not already been cleaned.). As a Hilton Honors member, I was permitted to stay until 2 pm. The gym was excellent. After checking out I hung around the hotel and worked. Without this hospitality I would have been sitting on the sidewalk outside...

"I liked the restaurant/bar area with lovely views over Edinburgh. Free parking is great and a great bust service to most places. A nice walk into the centre and The Castle. 20 mins walk to Morningside/Bruntsfield where there are lovely places to eat, have coffee/cocktails. Downside are the rooms, which are very tired and in need of renovation. I believe this is going to happen. Grand old building"

"Liked convenience to tram & airport but the property is getting run down and they say it’s a budget hotel but I had to pay double what it usually is not sure why (marathon in Edinburgh maybe) it sure isn’t worth what I paid or even half what I had to pay !!!"

"Tiene una excelente ubicación, a tan solo unos pasos de la estación de tren. Mi habitación estaba bien, no tan chiquita (tampoco amplia) y nos apoyaron en todo lo que necesitamos como a abrir la ventana para que circulara un poco el aire. Mi lugar favorito fue el lobby donde, además del bar, puedes prepararte café o té en cualquier momento. El desayuno estuvo bien, tienen bagels, pan, jamón y queso, huevos duros, yogurt y fruta. No es algo espectacular pero te saca del apuro si tienes que...
