Stayed here two weeks ago and had a lovely stay breakfast was at 7-00 till 10-00 and we went down at 7-00 and the hot and cold buffet was excellent. We stayed there last weekend on the 7th of march and was told the breakfast was at 7-00 till 10-00 we went down at 7-00 and was told the breakfast was at 7-30 as our train was at8-00 we left at 7-20 to catch the train the coffee machine wasn't even out need to get there act together and tell us the right time for breakfast
It was a decent stay. They were slow to provide room service. We had to ask multiple times for them to finally do it. The walls are also pretty thin so keep that in mind. The location was pretty good as well
Staff was kind and helpful
Room was clean- no maid service during stay but could go to front desk for more items
Breakfast is buffet and was not kept very hot
Only one or two outlets for charging
Rooms and hotel was dirty, smelled like mold, rooms were like a dungeon. It was a awful hotel. Only thing nice was the very friendly staff. I will never stay there again.

Staff were excellent. Room upgrade as lift to our room not working due to mobility problems.
Free disabled parking and excellent value for money in central Edinburgh
i don’t understand the negative hostile reviews; many people leaving scathing reviews are for the rooms they book without a window, which specifically state before booking ‘no window’. duh. I arrived very very late and the night auditor (assuming), was professional, engaging, and fun to talk to at 2am. I had a room upgrade because of the time I was checking in I assume, and it was I believe in Room 520 on the 5th floor, with an amazing view dead center to the Modern Two art gallery. The room was huge and spotless; and I am all over the world 250 times a year in hotels traveling. The only issue is the 10am check m and t tag qout. Say for someone like me who checked in at 2am, it was tough to get ready at that 8:30am
The property was such a 'vibe' honestly, its a relief having a hotel window with a gorgeous view of a forest and river to wake up to! Also, an excellent working shower....not as common as it should be! Can't fault the venue and am so eager to come stay again asap

Was comfortable and clean enough. Fairly well situated for access onto Princess Street. Enough parking spaces.
Could do with a few more comfortable chairs for anyone using the bar.
It suited my needs for a one night visit.
