"Breakfast was sad, the only hot breakfast to score was a do it yourself waffle machine. Cups for coffee were way too small! 4-6oz. And the choices were absolutely bare minimal. They could do better. "

"For a cheap hotel, it does the trick. It’s nothing special but it is clean and there’s a bed so for a quick stay it works. However, they do offer hourly rates which was a shocking surprise when we arrived. People do certainly take advantage of this and it was quite loud and disturbing at times, especially in the evening. I would definitely advise against staying here with children or older folks as it can get quite inappropriate and uncomfortable. All this aside, it did what it needed to do for...

"We had a great stay at the Industrialist for 2 days before our cruise from Brooklyn. The accommodation is clean and well equipped and is good value for money. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The location is also excellent for subway access and 5th Avenue which is great for evening strolls."

"It was clean and the beds very comfortable, but the only problem was the parking. They accommodated me and my daughter."
