"Sunset Marina Resort & Yacht Club was an amazing place to stay! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. The service throughout the resort was excellent—everyone was friendly, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure we had a great experience. The food was also fantastic. There were plenty of delicious options, and everything we tried was fresh and flavorful. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the quality of the meals really stood out. One of the things we loved most was having access to the amenities at their sister resort on the beach. It was the best of both worlds—enjoying the peaceful marina atmosphere while still being able to spend time at the beautiful beach resort whenever we wanted. The resort itself was clean, relaxing, and well-maintained, making it the perfect place to unwind. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend Sunset Marina Resort & Yacht Club to anyone visiting the area. 10/10 experience — great food, great service, and an overall fantastic vacation! 🌴☀️"

"It was our first time in Cancun and it went better than okay!. The staff was friendly , helpful , and nice. We appreciate the two bartenders Enrique and Jose so always providing great service. Apart from the staff , the only thing is the food isn’t the best but it is food so please don’t listen to the ungrateful people saying the food was terrible because in the end we were feed. We will definitely be coming back and we appreciate the entire staff there for making this a great vacation! "

"When we Checked in the girl was only worried about upgrading our room and never mentioned where restaurants were located or if any events were happening that day. She did however give us an envelope saying there is a map in there in case you need it. The other girl next to us checking other people in, was explaining everything in detail so we picked up a couple of things from her. All the employees that cleaned rooms ,served food or drinks were very nice and helpful. We decided to book at this hotel because we saw on Tik Tok that it said it was just built in December 2025 but then when we arrived we could tell it was an older hotel. Supposedly they will go under renovation in April of 2026 per other guests there. Loved that in the lobby area they had a bar on one side and a coffee bar on the other , that was genius. There were only 2 elevators on both sides so sometimes it would take forever to get to lobby and pool areas. they had an activity or something fun to do each day or night so that was a plus. "
