"The hotel had peeling paint, tiny elevators that creaked and reeked of smoke, and a sink not attached to the bathroom, and there was no light actually in the bathroom - which we just felt was strange. All 3 times we went to the valet stand, no one was there, despite a call down beforehand. The room was small but nice, clean and had a decent sized shower. The staff was kind, and the hotel is in a nice quiet and walkable location."

"Our room was right next to the staff supply room (many rooms are near these supply rooms) which means we heard banging, doors slamming, power washers and other loud machinery throughout the day. The adjoining wall with the staff supply room had loud banging audible until 11pm. My husband works from home, and the room service opened the door and tried to enter without knocking/ knocked as they were entering. Very disrespectful. They also added at 22$ per night “resort fee” which was not listed in...
