"Is a nice place to stay if you're visiting San Diego and moving in public transport. For my first time at a hostel, I really enjoyed my time here; people are respectful, quiet hours are respected, and your things are safe at all times. Bathrooms, showers, hallways, tables- everything was clean; I really felt comfortable here. About the neighborhood, there are indeed many homeless people on the street; however, most of them can be ignored. The hostel staff always made sure they weren't near the...

"When we got there I quickly understood it was not a traditional hotel. It had no lobby, or someone that can help you with any issues. The “hotel” connect with residential apartments. We found an infestation of ants and the number we called did not help, they refused to give us another room, they offered bug spray. Thermostat started malfunctioning and it got hot at night"

"Everything was beautiful. The rooms were clean and well kept. The pool area was fabulous and elegant. The staff was friendly and helpful. We did have trouble placing a food order for pickup. Improvement could be made there. Otherwise everything else was pretty amazing!"

"Room was very nice. Clean. Amenities were fantastic. Location excellent and staff courteous and professional."

"Staying at the Keating was a wonderful experience! The staff is very friendly, and the hotel was well taken care of. The only thing I would recommend against is renting a car as parking around the Keating is ridiculously expensive. The Gaslamp Quarter is fun and a great atmosphere to be in. You can spend an entire week just exploring around the hotel and probably not see everything. All in all the whole trip was a great getaway for my wife and I!"

"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"Beautiful hotel and friendly, helpful staff. Loud street traffic at night but to be expected when nearby bars let out."

"No way to describe the horrific experience we had checking in when we arrived. Had no idea there would be no front desk or direct contact with a human."
